Welcome to our new wildlife upload galleries.
We now have galleries for you to share your wildlife images with your friends and anyone who loves wildlife photos.
You may add any images you like but please don't upload images of schedule one's at the nest, clearly feeding or with young, unless you hold a schedule one licence for that species. You will be deleted if you persist. If taken from a hide supplied by a recognised organisation, that is OK.
You can view all the galleries, leave comments and rate photographs as you wish. Remember what you post can be viewed by everyone!
Uploading and a few basic rules
Size your images to 600x400px 72 DPI
You may either add your own watermark on resizing or during the upload. If you wish to add your own website as the watermark, that is fine. You are limited to 50MB of space per user.
We have tried to keep it simple so the website will find the camera and lens details itself when the image is uploaded. However, you must add where the photo was taken in the title of the photo. (Please do not submit photos from an undisclosed site unless it is because it is a scheduled 1 that you have a licence for.) These details can either be included on the file name or can be added in the photo title information when uploading.
Pic of the Week
Each week a pic will be selected for three categories - Birds, Mammal and other (flowers,insects,reptiles and amphibians). The winners will be contacted, and if you would like to send a full resolution image by email, your prize will be a print from our photo lab with a small certificate. Yearly, all 52 winners from each category will be re-judged to pick the overall winner who will receive a pair of vortex binoculars. Please do not add a photo that has already won a competition elsewhere.
We will also upload, but of course won't be elligible for the competition. If you enjoy photo competitions please enter our other competition on the main www.robwilsonphotos.co.uk website
